Youth Progressive Dinner Needs Host Homes

Redeeming Grace Baptist Church   -

RGBC Youth is set to have their 2nd Annual Progressive Dinner and needs 15 host homes to serve an appetizer, entree, or dessert to a group of 5-6 youth and their leader on the evening of Sunday, February 18.  Here is what three hosts from last year’s progressive dinner had to say about their experience:

Rene Reed says,

We enjoyed having the youth at our house last year for their first Progressive Dinner, it was a blessing to get to know the teens in our church! We are looking forward to hosting this year again!  At our last church we were Youth Leaders and we would do a Progressive Dinner and the hosts and teens always had a great time!

Tim Green says,

Last year I hosted a small group of the youth at my place for the appetizer portion of the progressive dinner. I didn’t know what to expect, but ended up having a great time playing some games and eating mozzarella sticks. The time flew by and next thing I knew, they were off to the next place. If you want a quick simple introduction to the RGBC youth, I would highly recommend taking part in the progressive dinner!!!

Dana Benefield says,

Rick and I enjoyed hosting the youth for the progressive dinner last year. We had a main course and were able to get to know the youth better. The conversations were lively and it was a great time of fellowship. It is so important for the youth to feel they can approach the older people in the church. Opening our homes to them is a great way to facilitate interactions.  We enjoyed it very much.

Would you prayerfully consider serving as a host this year?  Please contact our Youth Director, Eleanor Duke to let her know or email the church office (office@rgbcmd.org) and we can get you connected.
