October Monthly Giving Update
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

Fall is a very busy season for me. It is easy to become distracted in the busyness. It is easy to forget why I do what I do. It is easy to look to accomplishing tasks as winning the day. However, checking items off the to do list does not mean I have attained greatness.
Instead, true victory only comes through the blood of Jesus. Faith in his powerful work on the cross allows us to have victory over sin and death. My sinful tendencies have to fight to remember this in busy or distracting times.
We can thank God for our victory in Jesus. Our faith allows us to overcome the world. It is through our faith in Christ that we can have hope for the future and unity together on this mission. I can think of no greater investment for all our resources than a victory that has already been won.
